PE Sports Premium
PE and Sport is given a high priority at St Giles’ CE Primary School. We believe that high quality sport impacts positively upon attainment, behaviour, attendance and mental health. High quality sporting opportunities are available during lunchtime as well as after school which enables all children to access at least three hours of sport weekly. This has led to improved behaviours and higher levels of engagement in school. Strong links with local clubs allow children the opportunity for progression and further opportunities for competitive sport, which creates a firm foundation for continued access to sport throughout their lives. PE and Sport is very much at the heart of our vision for the school.
